The fault that occurred in the Swisscom Enterprise Solutions data network (IPSS) last night has been repaired. The technical breakdown led to disruptions in data traffic, particularly in eastern Switzerland and the Ticino. The fault affected Swisscom business customers? IT-based corporate networks, leading to the interruption of data connections.
The systems have been stable again since noon today (Wednesday). Capacity at the Swisscom Call Centres has returned to normal. In addition, WAP and Vodafone live! connections and the transmission of MMS messages via Swisscom Mobile are once more operational.
Swisscom would like to apologise to affected customers for the restricted service.
