As of the end of February 2005, Swisscom IT Services will be the new provider of decentralised IT services for Credit Suisse. The scope of the mandate includes the installation and relocation of some 30,000 Credit Suisse IT workstations in Switzerland.
Swisscom IT Services is to offer some of the former maintenance provider's staff the opportunity to transfer to Swisscom IT Services.
In executing the mandate, Swisscom IT Services will be able to count on its proven logistics concept and nationwide support organisation. The mandate doubles the size of the IT infrastructure managed by Swisscom IT Services, which already operates more than 30,000 IT workstations for a number of Swiss firms, and is further evidence of the company's growing success.
