12 January 2005

As of now, the Sharp V902 UMTS mobile is available in Switzerland exclusively from Swisscom Mobile. The Sharp V902 is the first UMTS mobile phone with an integrated 2-megapixel camera. It also supports attractive new UMTS services such as live TV and video telephony. The introductory offer (video telephony for the price of voice telephony) will be extended to the end of June 2005.

Available exclusively from Swisscom Mobile, the Sharp V902 is the first UMTS mobile phone in Switzerland with an integrated 2-megapixel camera. Autofocus and optical 2x zoom as well as digital 10x zoom guarantee excellent print-quality pictures. Video quality has also reached new dimensions with the Sharp V902, making video telephony and live TV even more attractive. With 265,000 colours and 240x320 pixels, the display offers ultra-high resolution. The Vodafone live! mobile phone comes with an integrated MP3 Player, 26 MB memory and an external 32 MB memory card. The Sharp V902 is on sale now at all Swisscom Shops as well as specialist outlets at the price of CHF 699 (including 24-month NATEL® swiss subscription). Without a subscription, the cost is CHF 1,299.

The uptake of new services such as video telephony and live TV is on the rise. Every second UMTS customer is a live TV user. Added to this, there is good news for all video telephony users: The promotion campaign for video telephony, offering video telephony minutes at the cost of voice telephony minutes, is being extended to the end of June 2005.
