The broadcasts from these 13 Swiss regional television stations have been newly integrated into the online Programme Guide from Bluewin TV 300: Tele Basel, Tele Bärn, Star TV, Tele Züri, TVO Tele Ostschweiz, Tele M1, Tele Tell, Tele Bielingue, Canal 9, Canal Alpha, ICI Télévision, Leman Bleu and TVRL. Bluewin TV 300 users can enjoy the convenience of going online to www.tv300.bluewin.ch for an overview of broadcast times. With just a few clicks, they can set up any programme to record on Bluewin TV 300. Thanks to remote programming, viewers will no longer miss their favourite programmes, and they can decide for themselves when they would like to watch which programmes.
The programme information is provided by partner company tvtv services, a subsidiary of Sony UK, and is continually updated for the electronic Programme Guide. The integration of regional television stations completes the offer from Bluewin TV 300 and will satisfy customers' far-reaching need for mobility and local information.
Swisscom Fixnet offers Bluewin TV 300 at an attractive rental price of CHF 24.90 per month. The one-off set-up fee of CHF 95 will no longer be charged from 1 September 2005 onwards. Bluewin TV 300 functions with all cable television outlets and does not require any additional connection to the Internet.
Up until now, Bluewin TV 300 was sold in Swisscom shops, in the Swisscom Online Shop and by Swisscom specialist retailers. Now Bluewin TV 300 is also available at the Media Markt stores in Chur, St. Gallen, Basel and Pratteln, and additional Media Markt locations are planned. Starting in September, Interdiscount, Fust as well as Darty, a French retailer that recently opened its first branch in Crissier, will follow suit.
Bluewin TV 300 is being promoted in cooperation with online platforms such as www.multimediaversand.ch and www.google.ch in keyword advertising. The integration of Bluewin TV 300 into the Bluewin partner programme (www.partner.bluewin.ch) and expansion of its distribution to additional online shops are both planned for September.
