Since the Ogo was introduced in November 2005, more than 40,000 customers have opted for the mobile instant messenger. Now there's the redesigned Ogo with added features: personal calendar, high-speed data transmission thanks to EDGE technology, Internet and telephone function. Together with its chat function and the ability to send e-mails and SMS messages, the new Ogo offers every means possible of staying in touch with friends when you're out and about. The device has an elegant, slim design, is equipped with a 320 x 240 pixel high-definition colour display and features an intuitive, user-friendly MSN interface, together with an integrated QWERTZ keypad.
The device costs CHF 99 with a 24-month contract. You can choose between subscribing to NATEL messenger plus or NATEL xtra-messenger plus, which each cost CHF 25. The subscriptions include unlimited MSN chat and unlimited sending and receiving of e-mails (without attachments) and surfing the Internet up to a volume of 10 MB. SMS messages cost CHF 0.20. Calls within the Swisscom network (mobile or fixed network) are charged at CHF 0.80 per hour; calls to other networks are charged at CHF 0.70 per minute. NATEL® xtra-messenger plus is aimed at all customers under the age of 26 and offers a more attractive SMS tariff of CHF 0.15 per SMS. Use abroad (roaming) is blocked, but can be activated free of charge.
The current Ogo, together with a NATEL instant messaging (now: NATEL messenger) subscription, will continue to be available at CHF 19 per month. It is ideal if you only want to chat and e-mail.
