The world's thinnest tablet is now available from Swisscom: the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is just 8.6 millimetres thick, has a 10.1-inch screen, runs Honeycomb (the latest Android version), and comes with a dual-core processor and two cameras. It also supports HSPA+ mobile technology which ensures lightning-fast transmission speeds for wireless web browsing. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is available from Swisscom with the NATEL data flat subscription for CHF 449, or for CHF 799 without a subscription.
Just 8.6 millimetres thick, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is the thinnest tablet on the market at present. It runs Android 3.1 (also known as Honeycomb), the latest incarnation of the operating system. Thanks to its 1 GHz dual-core processor and support for HSPA+ mobile technology, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 delivers optimum transmission speeds for wireless web browsing. The tablet is equipped with Polaris Office, which allows users to read and edit different file types, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, making it the ideal solution for working while on the move.
