Swisscom has been offering Replay for about a year now. 220,000 Swisscom TV plus customers are already using it to watch programmes on around 70 channels up to 30 hours after they have been broadcast. This allows customers to make a personalised viewing schedule and already more than 30% of customers are viewing programmes after they have been broadcast. From the beginning of March, Replay will also be available to customers with the smaller Swisscom basic TV subscription and will include an additional 20 HD channels.
People’s television viewing habits have changed radically compared with a few years ago. One important trend is that people want to watch their favourite shows when it suits them, not just when they are broadcast. With Replay, Swisscom offers customers to do just this. This new service has met with a great deal of interest since its launch, and 220,000 Swisscom TV plus customers already use it to watch programmes on around 70 channels for up to 30 hours after they were broadcast. Thanks to the advantages offered by the Swisscom network customers are increasingly creating their own personal TV programme. More than 30% of customers are already viewing programmes after they have been broadcast and this number is growing rapidly.
Swisscom is now expanding its Replay offering. From the beginning of March, it will also be available for 20 HD channels including six SRG channels as well as ARD, ZDF and Arte. It will also no longer be available exclusively to Swisscom TV plus customers as it is now being extended to all users of the Swisscom TV basic offering. Customers wanting to take advantage of this function can activate it directly from their TV by clicking on the following buttons on their remote control: Menu > Settings > TV Guide > Replay > Activate.
