Storebox: the cloud solution for business customers can now be individualised even more

The Swisscom Storebox provides business customers and now also SME partners with cloud-based storage space according to their needs. Thanks to the new product structure, companies of all sizes can now take advantage of this tailored solution. Specifically, they can buy storage space, user licenses and backup solutions according to their needs or expand their existing volumes as desired. The smallest basic package, offering 20 gigabytes of storage space, is available for as little as CHF 7.70 a month. "The Swisscom cloud solution enables valuable corporate data to be stored securely, accessed both at the office or elsewhere and shared, even externally," says Roger Wüthrich-Hasenböhler, the head of Swisscom's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises division.

Swisscom has restructured its Storebox services. Customers can now choose between several different service packages. The basic package includes 20-50 gigabytes of memory space and up to 50 user licences. It is available for as little as CHF 7.70 a month and can be expanded at any time at the click of a button. The solution is therefore even more attractive for smaller companies in particular.

Cloud-based storage is becoming increasingly important for business customers

IT managers are faced with an ever-increasing need for storage space for their data. At the same time, there is a growing demand for data security. In addition, customers want their information to be accessible not only while travelling but also made available to different departments and even outside the company. Storebox provides business customers and partners with a secure storage infrastructure. The data is encrypted and stored redundantly at several Swisscom data centres situated at different locations. Users can access it via a Web portal using a PC, a tablet computer or a smartphone. This simplifies even collaboration across companies. Backups of PC or server data can be configured individually and ensure that valuable corporate data can be restored quickly if lost.

Storebox is part of Swisscom's extensive ICT portfolio, which offers customers and partners a wide range of solutions - from network access to applications - all from a single source.
