Swisscom is ready with the best mobile network in Switzerland

Swisscom has once again been named winner of the connect mobile network test, receiving the highest score ever awarded by the consumer magazine and the umlaut measuring institute in their international tests. This win serves as confirmation that Swisscom customers are on Switzerland’s best mobile network and, moreover, that the mobile experience for Swisscom customers is unparalleled internationally. This year, Swisscom has won all relevant network and service tests.

Swisscom has been named winner of this year’s connect mobile network test, scoring an impressive 981 points out of a total 1000. This score not only puts Swisscom ahead of all Swiss providers, but it also puts it on top internationally. Swisscom achieved the best possible rating of ‘outstanding’ and won in all main categories. For Gerd Niehage, CTIO Swisscom, “To have won the mobile network test for the 14th time and with such impressive results is a testament to our significant investment in our infrastructure and the strong customer centricity of our employees.” Despite more rigorous testing, the Swisscom network is achieving excellent results, improving by 11 points compared to the previous year.

In its mobile network test, connect once again evaluated the categories ‘voice telephony’, ‘mobile data transmission’ and ‘crowdsourcing’. According to the consumer magazine: “Not only did Swisscom receive the rarely awarded rating of ‘outstanding’, but it also achieved the highest score ever recorded in one of our network tests. Swisscom is also ahead overall in 5G. An impressive result!”.

Setting standards for networks and service

Swisscom’s mobile network joins its fixed network in being named the best in Switzerland this year. The Swisscom service channels also received the rating ‘excellent’, with our app, shops and hotline all achieving top scores in their respective connect tests. It is clear that Swisscom’s service and network set the highest standards. Swisscom, in cooperation with partner Ericsson, is continuing to expand its network to ensure that it always offers its customers the very best network quality. With network coverage of 79% for 5G+ and speeds of up to 2 Gbit/s, Swisscom’s mobile network provides reliable, fast mobile coverage. And not only is the network fast, it is also sustainable: Swisscom has been running its entire network on 100% renewable energy for over 10 years.
