As of today, it’s even more worthwhile to be with Swisscom. With the new “We are Family!” discount, customers with multiple Swisscom Mobile subscriptions in one household can now enjoy a 50% discount on their second and subsequent mobile subscriptions.
Over 800,000 customers already enjoy the Combi Discount (CHF 20.– per month) and over 400,000 the Family Discount (CHF 30.– per month) when they have Swisscom Internet and mobile subscriptions in one household. Thanks to the new “We are Family!” discount, even more families (including couples and flatmates) can reap the benefits. The current Combi Discount of CHF 20.– still applies, but customers also receive a 50% discount on the second, third, fourth and fifth mobile subscriptions within the same household. This is great news, too, for customers who only have a mobile subscription with Swisscom, because the new discount also applies to them – even households without blue Internet receive a 50% discount on their second, third, fourth and fifth mobile subscriptions (blue Mobile S, M and L are all eligible for the discount). This means households can save up to CHF 220.– per month (including Combi Discount) on a long-term basis. The new offer is also available to existing customers.
Dirk Wierzbitzki, Head of Residential Customers and Member of the Management Board, explains: “We are introducing the new ‘We are Family!’ discount to offer a more attractive deal for customers with multiple mobile subscriptions in one household – irrespective of whether they also have a Swisscom Internet subscription. We also recognise that families and larger households – whatever the set-up – are often on a tight budget, so by bringing in this new discount, we can support them and offer a more attractive way to save money whilst still benefiting from the best network and service. The best network at the best price, in other words.”
For example, customers who take out a second or subsequent subscription will now only pay CHF 34.95 per month (blue Mobile S) for that subscription, for unlimited surfing and calls within Switzerland. Or, to put it another way, four flat-sharing adults with Internet access will average just under CHF 38.– per mobile subscription per month (CHF 42.– without Internet).
At the end of February, Swisscom will also be launching a new Kids subscription with unlimited calls and 8 GB of data (within Switzerland) for CHF 29.90 per month. With the “We Are Family!” discount of 50%, it will cost just CHF 14.95 per month. A family of four, with two children under 18, will therefore average just under CHF 29.– per mobile subscription per month (CHF 34.– without Internet).
