Swisscom wins connect mobile network test

Swisscom has won the connect mobile network test with the highest score ever awarded for Switzerland, Germany or Austria. Swisscom secured itself the top spot by achieving 983 points, demonstrating that it continues to offer customers the best network in Switzerland. This year, Swisscom has once again swept the board in all relevant network and service tests, confirming its position as number 1 for Switzerland.

Swisscom has won the connect mobile network test with a sensational 983 points. This score not only puts Swisscom ahead of all Swiss providers, but also ahead of those in Germany and Austria.

“I couldn’t be happier with this impressive mobile network test win and am particularly proud that we achieved the highest score ever recorded for a Swiss network. Having recently also won the fixed network test, it is clear that our customers are always optimally connected wherever they are,” says Mark Düsener, CTIO Swisscom. “We attribute this success to the tireless customer focus of our employees and our continued investment in all networks.”
Swisscom has now won the network test sixteen times in succession and again received the top score of ‘outstanding’ in this year’s test.

In its test, connect assesses the providers’ performance in voice telephony, mobile data transmission and crowdsourcing. According to the consumer magazine: “Swisscom was the winner in Switzerland, surpassing last year’s score by six points, which, at this level, is remarkable performance from the market leader. Swisscom is also leading the field in the 5G expansion.” Special mention was furthermore given to the network’s impressive performance on trains: “Market leader Swisscom is outperforming the competition on Swiss trains.” It also scored highly in terms of reliability, which has particular relevance for customers. Here, connect assessed the quality of basic services relevant to everyday life, such as network availability and stability, with the Swisscom network coming out on top overall in this area too.

Best service on the best network

In addition to its mobile network, Swisscom’s fixed network was also recently named the best network. And whether online, over the phone or in person, customers at Swisscom receive the best service across all channels – because Swisscom also won all the service tests carried out by connect.
