In the first pillar of our BVCM approach, we invest specifically in startups in the field of carbon dioxide removal (CDR). Our aim is to strengthen the supply in this market so that all companies with net-zero targets have the opportunity to purchase the relevant certificates.
We invest in two types of startups: companies that further develop and scale CDR solutions technologically, and companies that strengthen the CDR market as a whole—for example, through financing, services, or platforms that promote dissemination and acceptance.

Industry-leading risk assessment
Prism, CEEZER's proprietary risk assessment, analyzes over 400 validated data points per project. It is based on comprehensive, data-driven due diligence developed by an experienced team of climate and subject matter experts. Prism covers all relevant project types – from biochar, enhanced weathering, and BECCS to reforestation, direct air capture, marine-based approaches, and agricultural practices.
As a result, Swisscom has made a financial investment in CEEZER to promote long-term access to CDR projects, particularly in Switzerland.
