Founded in spring 2010 by the umbrella association ICTswitzerland and the cantonal and regional professional organisations (OdA), the association aims to actively address the shortage of qualified ICT personnel in Switzerland. Swisscom has a seat on the board. At the same time, the IT Vocational Training Switzerland foundation was established to promote and fund ICT vocational training projects. Swisscom has a seat on the foundation board.
