Trustful cooperation
On 29 August 2022, the celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the first Zionist Congress took place in Basel. The Department of Justice and Security of the Canton of Basel-Stadt was responsible for ensuring security around the event. Due to high security requirements, the Justice and Security Department relied on Swisscom's event management software Zoon for the participant management of the more than 3,000 security personnel.
A platform along the event experience chain
Zoon is particularly suitable for the simple and secure management of event participants along the event experience chain. Zoon was also used for Zikoba 2022, from registration and badge creation to event check-in on site. Thanks to special security measures such as a security strip or access zones on the event badge, the high security requirements were taken into account. Thanks to real-time event check-in, the organisation was able to maintain an overview at all times and make any necessary adjustments to access rights.
