Video surveillance for HC Fribourg-Gottéron ice rink

As part of the full renovation of its ice rink, Fribourg-Gottéron hockey club opted for a video surveillance solution from Swisscom Broadcast. Installation took place at the end of September and the equipment was up and running in time for the start of the hockey season.

The project involved the installation of over 30 CCTV cameras at the renovated St. Leonhard ice rink. The first step was to equip the interior of the new BCF Arena. Thus, the seating and standing areas within the fan zones are now monitored by the Dallmeier Panomera® multifocal sensor system.

As a result, the Fribourg-Gottéron hockey club was able to start the 2019/2020 season with surveillance equipment that is fully in line with the latest security standards. With Swisscom Broadcast’s service package, the club benefits from comprehensive services over the next five years.

The video surveillance solution offers protection for fans and players, and helps to prevent vandalism. In the event of a crime, the police can retrieve the stored video data at any time. Data security and protection are guaranteed: the data is stored in Switzerland in the Swisscom Cloud.
