Introduction to GenAI using the example of software engineering

Together with the Institute of Information Systems and Digital Business (IWI-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen, we have investigated how software engineering use GenAI and experience the transformation through artificial intelligence. The whitepaper also provides inspiration across industries, as it shows the most important steps of the GenAI transformation; from the experimental phase to workflow integration and new role models and tasks in the company. Finally, the study has identified different usage patterns with GenAI.
