The next edition of the Swisscom Cybersecurity Report is here. This year’s report shows that the threat status is becoming more complex and that, partly due to the merging of the physical and virtual world, new opportunities for attacks are emerging.

 

 

The report also casts a light on two focus topics:

 

  • The influence of Artificial Intelligence on Cybersecurity. How can AI and machine learning be used in order to be able to identify and remedy attacks and vulnerabilities more quickly and more accurately?
  • The most frequent types of threat in the Swisscom network. Analysis shows that attacks with malware are continuing to increase and that the new trend of crypto-mining is also gaining a foothold in Switzerland.
