Martin is convinced that analytics will play a central role in digitisation. He is very interested in the ways in which advanced analytics can be used. His credo is that analytics will remain a vital element of digitisation for as long as it continues to change. Whereas in the past batch processes and actual figures were decisive, the best solutions are now integrated into processes in real-time and are equipped with advanced capabilities such as predictive and big data. Martin studied business economics, media sciences and computer science at university. He learned the consulting business from scratch and has remained true to it to this day. At Swisscom he is responsible for Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Driven Processes & Business Models.
