The Baloise insurance company tendered a project with the aim of implementing a single-provider strategy for its branches in Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. A volume of 8.1 million minutes of mobile phone calls, 15.4 million minutes of fixed-network calls and 640,000 text messages per year needed to be managed. It had to be possible to use the communications volumes across country borders. However, the key requirement was fully electronic invoicing.
