Downloading the app and logging in

With the Business Communication app, you can make phone calls from your business landline number via your mobile phone, PC or laptop even when you are out of the office. Use presence information, instant messaging (chat), screen sharing, online meetings and guest access to collaborate even faster and more easily with colleagues, customers and partners.

macOS 10.11 El Capitan or higher (Min. 4GB RAM, 1.5GHz CPU, Dual Core CPU, OpenGL 1.5 or higher)

Windows

Windows 7 SP1 or higher (Min. 4GB RAM, 1.5GHz CPU, Dual Core CPU, OpenGL 1.5 or higher)

Android

Version 4.4 and greater (1 GB RAM, ARMv7, Dual Core CPU, min. 320x480px display)

iOS

iOS 10 on iPhone 5 or higher



Login

After installing the Business Communication app, you can sign in by entering your user name and password. Ask your company’s administrator for a user name and password if you don’t have them yet.

Forgotten your password?

Your company’s administrator will assist you if you have forgotten your password. They can assign you a new password.






Key functions

Main menu on computers and smartphones

Presence information

A coloured dot indicates your own and your contacts’ presence status. The colours tell you whether (and on which device) your communication partners can be reached (only available with package including UCC functions)..
   

Contacts

Locate and manage personal contacts here. You can look for people in the directory search field and add them to you contacts.
   

My Room
Use this option to conduct online meetings with several people inside and outside the company (only available with package including UCC functions).

   

Chat log

Check your incoming and outgoing instant messages in the log (only available with package including UCC functions).
   

Call log

Check your incoming and outgoing calls in the log.
   

Tastenfeld

Hier befindet sich die Zahlentastatur. Anrufe können hier gestartet werden. Entweder direkt aus der App oder über Ihr Tischtelefon.
   

Directory (company address book)

All company contacts are displayed here. Right click the mouse to add contacts to your own contacts.
   

Options

You can adjust various video, call, sound and speaker settings here.

Actions

Instant messaging (chat)

Click to open the chat window. Enter your message (or double click the contact) - (only available with package including UCC functions).
   

Calls via PC/smartphone

Start an internal call or access the public telephone network directly using the app with a headset (headphones and microphone) for instance.
   

Calls via desk phone

Start a call from the app with your desktop phone (provided it has been configured by your Swisscom partner).
   

Video calls

Start a video call with a person (only possible with a package including UCC functions).
   

Share screen (only available on PC/laptop)

You have the option of sharing your screen with colleagues (online) (only available in package with UCC functions).
