When you sign into the Business Communication client, you will be told that an updated version is available.
When the app is updated (smartphone and desktop or laptop), your configuration data and settings are retained.
Always keep your app and client up to date. By updating it, you ensure that you are always using the latest functions and that any issues related to the operating system are taken into account.
Emergency calls are always made to the relevant emergency services from the company headquarters, even if the Business Communication app/client is used at another location. It is therefore strongly advisable not to use the Business Communication app/client for emergency calls away from the company base. If the Business Communication app/client is used with a smartphone, your location can only be identified via the mobile network and SIM card if the mobile device contains a SIM card configured for voice calls and the emergency number 112 is dialled.
