    You can install the Internet-Box yourself quickly and easily. To experience the internet in a new dimension, simply follow the step-by-step installation guide.  

    Open your installation guide as a pdf, and save it on your computer. 

     

    Copper cable landline connections

    Swisscom has installed different telephone sockets for copper cabling over time. Refer to the instructions to see which adapter you may need to use: 

    DSL internet connection (IP)

    • The DSL cable plugs straight into the telephone socket with an adapter.
    • If you have a landline (IP) subscription, the telephone plugs straight into the router.

    Converting existing Internet Box

    If you change to using copper cable (IP) because of moving or a service order for your Internet Box, you will receive a copper kit (IP) with the necessary accessories.

    DSL internet connection

    • The DSL cable connects to the telephone socket using a microfilter.
    • Telephones are plugged straight into the microfilter.

    Fibre-optic connections

    • Typical fibre-optic socket
    • If you have a landline (IP) subscription, the telephone is plugged straight into the router

    Converting existing Internet Box

    If you change to using fibre-optic cable with your Internet Box because of moving or a service order, you will receive a fibre-optic kit (IP) with the necessary accessories.

    Tip: Thanks to the integrated base station, you can wirelessly connect your phone to the Internet-Box at the simple touch of a button if you have an HD-Phone from Swisscom.
