The free call filter blocks unwanted calls and dubious advertising on your smartphone or landline.
The call filter blocks calls that are highly likely to be unwanted marketing or scam calls. For calls that appear suspicious but cannot be clearly classified as spam, the message ‘Caution: Suspected spam’ will now be displayed. The call will still go through, so you can decide for yourself whether to answer it.
This feature is free of charge and is automatically enabled when your Callfilter is switched on. It cannot be enabled or disabled separately.
You can also block individual numbers. These are then automatically blocked. A total of up to 200 blocked numbers are possible, which you can unblock at any time.
Immediately after an unsolicited call, key in *00# on the telephone’s numeric keypad. The number of the last incoming call will be added to your block list.
If you want to block unsolicited calls from an entire canton, country or company, key in the first identical digits of the number, followed by an asterisk. For example: +4131*
Block chargeable 0900 numbers and value-added services. Once blocked, you will no longer be able to call these numbers yourself.
If you block all value-added services, you will no longer be able to pay your mobile bill using Swisscom Pay/SMS short numbers.
The Swisscom Callfilter blocks undesired telemarketing calls according to up-to-date blocking lists. The blocking list is compiled to the best of our knowledge. However, it is still possible that some undesired telemarketing calls will get through. In exceptional circumstances it is also possible that some normal calls may be blocked.
In My Swisscom you can set that calls with a suppressed number (anonymous calls) are automatically rejected.
