Outlook plugin

Synchronise your main phone book with your Outlook contacts. Simply download the Outlook plugin and set up.

Connecting the phone book with Outlook

With the Outlook plugin, you can synchronise contacts from your local Outlook folder with the main phone book. You will then find all of your contacts in Outlook as well as on your phones.


The Business Telephony mobile app does not support contact synchronisation of the main phone book because the LDAP interface for contact lookup is not supported. Your alternative

Downloading the Outlook plugin

Before you start the installation, check that the following requirements are met:

Operating system:

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
Windows XP is not supported because .NET Framework 4.6.1 is set as a minimum requirement.
We recommend updating to the latest .NET framework.

Outlook version:

The Outlook plugin works with Outlook 2013 and above.
Only Outlook for Windows is supported.
There is currently no version for Outlook for MacOS. 

Go to the Outlook plugin, click Download and follow the instructions of your Internet browser. Close Outlook before starting the installation.

Once you have completed the installation, follow the instructions below.

Setting up the Outlook plugin

Following successful installation, you will see a new card "CalDav Synchronizer":

1. Select General Options

2. Select UI Settings.

Create Swisscom phone book

1. Choose "Synchronization Profiles"

2. Click "+" to create a new profile.

3. Select Swisscom and click OK.

4. Set up the Swisscom profile


  1. Enter a name for the phone book.
  2. Select a local Outlook folder whose contacts you want to synchronise with the main phone book.
  3. Click Swisscom Login.

5. Log in using your Swisscom Login.

6. Accept the T&Cs and click "Authorise"

Note: The first time you run ‘Synchronize now’ should be using an empty local Outlook folder. Otherwise, entries in your existing address book will be duplicated as a result of the synchronisation.


Swisscom recommends that the local Outlook folder be administered by just one authorised person.
