If you receive an e-mail from Swisscom with the subject ‘Changes to your email settings required’, the e-mail settings in your e-mail program need to be changed to comply with the latest security standards.
Your incoming mail server currently has a different user name (alias address) to your outgoing mail server. From December, Swisscom will no longer allow these settings to be used to send e-mails to protect your account.
No e-mail addresses will be deleted: you can continue to use your 5 Bluewin e-mail addresses.
