By default, Swisscom blocks access to adult entertainment for all children and young people under 16 years of age. This includes pornographic material via SMS/EASYPAY and the use of 0906 numbers. Blocking sets are automatically deactivated after the age of 16. All available blocking sets can be reactivated in the Customer Center.
The parental control function lets you set surfing times per device and weekday. You can select age-appropriate surfing times.
The Home app lets you set up and manage the settings for your Internet-Box on the move, including parental controls (not available for customers with Internet-Box light).
|Log into the Internet-Box web portal via your Internet browser (enter http://internetbox or 192.168.1.1 and log in).
|On the left in the menu, open “Parental Controls” and click on “Details” for the device you wish to configure.
|Click on the “On/Off” button to activate parental controls for this device.|
|Click on the timeline for a day of the week and keep the mouse key pressed down while you drag the field right or left to set the start or end time for Internet use.|
|The time slots allow you to restrict when surfing is permitted during the day. Confirm with “Save”. From now, the device will only be able to access the Internet via LAN or WLAN during the times you have set.|
The protection of minors function enables you to prevent children and young people from accessing or renting certain channels, programmes and films.
