Adjust the AV channel correctly on the television set:
Look for the right button for switching to the AV channel on your television’s remote control (not the remote control for the Swisscom TV set-top box!). The name of the button may vary depending on your device’s manufacturer. If in doubt, refer to your television operating instructions for help.
Possible names are “AV”, “Source” or an icon such as:
Turn the Swisscom TV set-top box on (Power button lights up green) and press the TV GUIDE button on the set-top box remote control once. As a result, the TV set-top box will transmit a picture that you can automatically recognise as a Swisscom TV picture.
Now press the button for switching to the AV channel on your television remote control. If the picture does not appear after a few seconds, press the button again to select the next channel. When you see the TV Guide, you have set the correct AV channel.
You can also set the correct AV channel with the Swisscom TV remote control. To do so, synchronise your television set.
If only one channel has stopped working, this is due to a problem at Swisscom which will be rectified as soon as possible. For the current overview refer to the network and service status page.
Displaying the TV Guide. To do so, press the blue TV GUIDE button on your Swisscom TV remote control. In case you cannot see any programmes in the TV Guide, reboot all devices.
Reboot your Swisscom TV set-top box and DSL router if you are experiencing sound or picture problems, or if the TV set-top box is not working properly.
Technical problems can occur if the TV set-top box is switched on and there is no Internet connection. Information about faults and maintenance work can be found here here.
Please follow this order of steps:
Check whether all the plugs are firmly connected to the router, the connection kits, the TV set-top box and the television. Disconnect all the connection plugs and reconnect them in order to ensure that the contacts are trouble-free.
Switch off your DSL router using the toggle switch on the rear or by disconnecting the power cable, and switch it back on after a few seconds.
Switch off your DSL Router and switch it back on after a few seconds.
Disconnect any connection kits you have from the power supply for 10 seconds; after reconnecting them, wait until the kit is ready for operation again and all LED light up green.
Reboot your Swisscom TV set-top box and DSL router using the toggle switch on the rear or by disconnecting the power cable.
Your Swisscom TV set-top box will now reboot. This can take up to 5 minutes.
