How do I insure my mobile device?

You can order insurance when you purchase a new mobile phone or tablet and when you take out or extend a mobile subscription. You can do this in the Swisscom Online Shop, in a Swisscom Shop or through the hotline.

  1. Bring your device to the Swisscom Shop.
  2. We will repair or replace your mobile phone or tablet.
  3. You pay the CHF 70.– or CHF 100.– excess in the Shop itself or by invoice. Note: The repair for a damaged device must always be arranged by Swisscom. This is the only way to have the costs covered by Protection Plus.

Find a Repair Center

  1. Have your SIM card blocked within 48 hours.
  2. Notify the theft to the police quoting your device’s IMEI number.
  3. Go to My Swisscom > “Current use and costs” to check whether call charges have been incurred since the theft occurred. Note: There is a delay in displaying call charges.
  4. Inform AXA of any call charges incurred. Charges up to CHF 2,000.– are covered and you do not have to pay an excess.
