What are the effects of the Money Laundering Act (MLA) on Swisscom Pay?
Compliance with the law, the following measures were implemented by 1 July 2020:
- The turnover of all private customers as well as all SME customers is monitored with regard to their consumption of third-party services (e.g. 090x numbers, Easypay/Natel Pay) and immediately blocked if the negligibility threshold of CHF 5,000 is reached. This process is already used for prepaid.
- All large companies have been blocked for third-party purchases and the use of value-added services as of June 29, 2020. Due to the size of the customer and the need for manual blocking, compliance with the de minimis threshold cannot be guaranteed.

Why didn’t the registration work for me?
This might be, for example, that the maximum amount for purchases has been reached with the invoice.
I have a mobile subscription with Premium block or spending limit. Can I still pay for content in Gameloft with the mobile phone bill?
No. When paying with Swisscom Mobile, content can only be bought in Gameloft if your number is activated for additional services (i.e. shopping with Swisscom number).
The limit for payments with the mobile phone bill has been reached. What can I do now?
Please call Swisscom customer service at 0800 800 800 and ask for an increase to the monthly limit. Alternatively, you can make the setting manually on My Swisscom (Customer Center).
How high is the purchasing limit?
The monthly limit with a mobile subscription is CHF 500. For young people under 16, it is CHF 150. With Prepaid, the maximum limit is your current credit balance. You can alter your limit by phone.

Can I block payment with the mobile phone bill?
You can block value-added services on My Swisscom, meaning that payment with the mobile phone bill is then no longer possible. Value-added services are enabled by default.
