The Internet-Box standard promises excellent performance: including fast WLAN, WLAN band steering, top surfing speeds and extra functions.
Simply connect and the Internet-Box is immediately configured automatically. This also works when you change your router – all the passwords and settings are adopted.
When this function is activated* your devices (mobile or tablet for instance) are automatically connected to your router’s best WLAN network for optimum speed. Newer devices will, if possible, automatically connect to the much faster 5GHz WLAN network.
* The function can be activated on the router.
The Internet-Box has a state-of-the-art integrated telephone base station, which connects with your HD-Phone at the touch of a button. Enjoy crystal-clear sound quality when making calls to other HD-Phones – the person you are calling will sound as if they are in the same room. You will require an IP fixed network connection and a CAT-iq certified phone.
Use the Internet-Box app (Coming soon: Swisscom Home App) to make fixed network calls at home easily with your smartphone or tablet. Transfer contacts from your smartphone to the address book of your HD fixed network phones at the push of a button. You can change Internet-Box settings conveniently using the app.
Activate an additional WLAN network for your guests so they can easily surf the web without accessing your data or password.
The Internet-Box web portal offers additional functions for home networking diagnostics, processor capacity, LAN and WLAN bandwidths.
