|Active Standby||11.5 W|
|Deep Standby||0.6 W|
If you don’t need your device for more than two hours, select the energy-saving Deep Standby option. Although activating takes a little longer (up to two and a half minutes), you will reduce power consumption substantially.
The enery-saving Deep Standby option does not affect any recordings you have planned. However, when Deep Standby is active, remotely programming recordings via the Internet or Swisscom TV app is restricted.
Deep Standby can be easily activated and configured using your remote control: Press MENU -> SETTINGS -> ENERGY-SAVING OPTIONS
If you don’t need the device for several days or even weeks, e.g. during the holidays, it uses practically no electricity at all in Deep Standby. The energy-saving option does not affect any recordings you have planned. However, when Deep Standby is active, remotely programming recordings via the Internet or Swisscom TV app is restricted.
And, of course, you save most electricity by disconnecting the TV box and mains adapter from the power, which then deactivates all recording functions. When you start up again, wait until the modem is connected to the Internet before you switch on the TV box.
