Matthias joined Swisscom in March 2015 as a Senior Corporate Strategist and was in charge of the strategic planning process where he led C-level strategy execution programs. Since October 2017 he joined Swisscom Ventures and is responsible for strategic value creation across the portfolio and supports investment activities. Prior to Swisscom, Matthias drove the corporate development of InteractiveMedia (DT Group) before it was acquired by Ströer Digital. Coming from a Consulting background with OC&C/Detecon, Matthias possesses deep expertise in TIME markets across Europe, US and Asia where he spent 5 years advising clients on digital transformation. He was involved in various M&A including Scout24, Booming, InteractiveMedia and honed operational skills through interim management mandates.
Matthias holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Cologne, visited Stellenbosch & Ashridge Business Schools and took advanced classes at Wharton School.
