To continue offering Netflix users a wide range of entertainment and improve the quality of its service, Netflix is increasing the price of its subscriptions across Europe from mid-May 2024. The price for a basic subscription will increase by CHF 1.– to CHF 12.90, the standard subscription will increase by CHF 2.– to CHF 20.90 and the premium subscription will increase by CHF 3.– to CHF 27.90. Once you added Netflix to your Swisscom service, you recieve an e-mail with all information to activate Netflix with your Swisscom account. Clicking the button in the e-mail or navigating directly to My Selection (Additional offers) in My Swisscom (www.swisscom.ch/netflix) you get to the product detail page of Netflix where you see a button "Activate Netflix". When clicking the button you'll be redirected to Netflix to either create a new account to be linked, or to link an existing account.
Yes, you can easily link your existing Netflix account - no need to cancel it first! Following the prompts above to link an account, simply enter your existing Netflix credentials to link your existing Netflix account to your package. Once completed, you will no longer be billed on your previous method of payment. NOTE: If you previously paid through Apple and have linked your account to a partner package, you must also cancel your subscription through Apple. If you do not, you may continue to be charged by Apple.
No, you must complete the activation process as detailed above to link a Netflix account to your package. If you do not, Netflix has no way of associating a Netflix account with your package. If you have an existing Netflix account and sign up for a package that includes a Netflix membership, you will continue to be charged separately for your Netflix account until you complete activation.
You can change your Netflix plan at any time by signing in to Netflix.com and visiting your Netflix Account page. Then select Change Plan to view and select available Netflix plans.
