On our IT Trainee programme, you will start your career in an exciting and fast-paced ICT environment and help to shape the networked Switzerland of the future. You will dive straight into our fascinating world of IT and start building a network that will come in very useful for your professional future.

What to expect

Either following your degree or master’s course or as part of your studies, we offer the perfect start to your IT career. Over a period of 12 to 18 months, you will work in IT projects of varying lengths at an employment level of 60 to 100% and be introduced to different business areas throughout the Group. You are free to select these from an internal marketplace according to your interests or arrange your own!

You will also have the opportunity to attend various workshops on agility, human-centered design or intrapreneurship. This will allow you to get to know Swisscom in all its diversity. And throughout the programme, you will benefit from the support and expertise of an experienced mentor.

Requirements

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or technology at tertiary level (e.g. from a Federal Institute of Technology or the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)) that was completed within the past 12 months. Or you are currently on a master’s course and are looking for a technically challenging part-time role.

You also possess very good communication skills, a thirst for knowledge and commitment. Does the originality of your ideas impress people? Would you like to make a difference at Swisscom? If so, we look forward to meeting you.
