Price adjustments from April 2026

Swisscom offers its customers powerful and highly secure network services. To sustain this outstanding quality, Swisscom is adjusting its prices for some residential customer subscriptions as of April 2026. From 1 April, the monthly subscription prices for Internet and mobile subscriptions will each increase by CHF 1.90 and the monthly subscription prices for TV and fixed network telephony by CHF 0.90.

The adjustment affects the above products from the Swisscom brand and applies to both new and existing customers. It does not affect universal service offerings, prepaid products or data-only and kids’ mobile subscriptions. All affected customers will be notified in the coming days on their bill and by e-mail (if an address has been stored). If customers do not agree to the price adjustments, they are entitled to prematurely terminate their contract.

The adjustment is necessary due to structural changes in the telecommunications market: although customers now receive far higher service levels than just a few years ago (in some cases up to 20 times higher), unlike in all other sectors, prices have continually fallen.1 This has resulted in declining total market revenues and revenues per customer, and it is no longer possible to offset this situation through cost reduction measures and efficiency improvements alone.

Ongoing investment in Switzerland’s best network

The level of network performance and service required by Swiss customers is continually increasing. Unlimited data, flat rates for telephony services and both high speeds and availability at all times are now expected as standard. The ever-growing level of data traffic requires networks that are designed to handle high loads. As a result, Swisscom continually invests in the expansion, modernisation and maintenance of its mobile and fibre networks, with its 2025 investments in networks and the IT infrastructure in Switzerland amounting to around CHF 1.7 billion.
