Suspend mobile subscription

Suspend your mobile subscription for between 2 and 12 months. While your subscription is on hold, you will not pay any subscription charges. You can end the suspension at any time in My Swisscom.

You cannot suspend fixed network, TV and Internet subscriptions. 

  • For Residential Customers only 
  • No active mobile phone instalment plan. Cancel the device instalment plan in My Swisscom first 
  • Subscription may only be suspended once during the minimum contract period 
  • One-off charge of CHF 25.– 
  • No subscription charges during the suspension period. 
  • The minimum contract period is extended by the corresponding number of months. 

FAQs

Most Swisscom subscriptions are subject to a 60-day period of notice. We must therefore receive your notice no later than 60 days before the desired contract end date.

Most Swisscom contracts have a minimum term of 12 months. For some subscriptions that include a discounted device (such as a smartphone), the term may even be 24 months.

You can pause a mobile subscription – for example, if you will be out of the country for an extended period.

If your Netflix subscription is managed through Swisscom, you can cancel it directly in My Swisscom.

You can take your existing phone number to a new provider (number porting). Contact us before taking out a subscription with a new provider. We will take care of your cancellation and ensure that you don’t incur unexpected charges, expenses or delays.
