The Swisscom Shopping Checker is a free online tool that allows you to check the trustworthiness of online shops. This enables you to identify potential scam sites or dubious providers at an early stage.

After entering the web address (URL) of the shop, the Checker analyzes various publicly available information, security certificates, and other technical features of the website. Based on this data, a non-binding assessment of the online shop's reliability is provided.

Shops belonging to well-known retailers are also checked, with the aim of identifying deceptively realistic counterfeits of the original website.

No. The use of the Swisscom Shopping Checker is completely anonymous and does not require registration or the provision of personal data.

A positive result from the Online Shopping Checker indicates that there are currently no irregularities and reduces the risk of shopping on a fraudulent site. If you are unsure, we recommend checking  other factors such as the legal notice, independent customer reviews, or reputable payment methods.

Fraudulent shops often change their domains and methods quickly. The Checker provides a valuable initial assessment and guidance, but cannot guarantee that all fraudulent websites will be detected

Unlimited, and it remains free to use at all times.
