Set up your router using the step-by-step guide for your Internet-Box.
Note:
Please bear in mind the following points before setting up your internet connection:
The Internet-Box is the central router from Swisscom. It establishes the connection to the internet and sets up the Wi-Fi network.
The WLAN Box extends the existing Wi-Fi signal from the Internet-Box. It improves reception in rooms where the Wi-Fi signal is weak or unstable.
LED lights white: The TV-Box is switched on.
LED not lit: The TV-Box has no power.
LED lights red: The TV-Box is in standby mode.
LED flashing blue: The TV-Box is starting up.
The WLAN Box improves your Wi-Fi reception in additional rooms.
Position the WLAN Box so that it can extend your existing Wi-Fi signal as effectively as possible.
Connect your computer to your network via the Wi-Fi settings.
Connect your smartphone directly to your network via the Wi-Fi settings.
Many devices such as printers, internet radios or smart home devices can be connected to Wi-Fi via WPS.
You can view and change your Wi-Fi password in the Wi-Fi settings.
You can customise your Wi-Fi name in the Wi-Fi settings.
In the router portal, you can view and adjust router and Wi-Fi settings.
You can specify when and for how long a particular device is permitted to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Note:
This restriction applies to Wi-Fi only. The device can still access the internet via mobile data.
Set up a payment PIN. Once configured, the PIN must be entered on the TV box before any paid add-on packages can be booked or content rented or purchased.
With an age restriction and a parental control PIN, you determine who has access to which apps, channels and programmes.
