Swisscom Business Account (for customers with beem)

General

The Swisscom Business Account is the new access solution for Swisscom business customers. It is gradually replacing the Swisscom Login and the Business Login.

Why you are receiving a Swisscom Business Account:

  • Enhanced security: The Swisscom Business Account uses up-to-date authentication methods, Your data is therefore better protected against cyber attacks.
  • Compatibility with new solutions: New security and communications solutions from Swisscom are only compatible with the Swisscom Business Account. They are not compatible with the previous access methods.

At present, we are activating the Swisscom Business Account exclusively for beem customers on beem Security Edition Standard or above.

  • Swisscom Business Account: username with domain. Example: user@company.beem.swiss or user@company.ch
  • Swisscom Login: username usually without domain.
  • Accounts are identified in My Swisscom Business in the user list and in the user profile.

Use your Swisscom Business Account as standard. This gives you the highest level of protection.

You only need a Swisscom Login if you switch to an application that is not yet compatible. In this case, you will see a notification and be prompted to log in with your Swisscom Login.

User administration**

* Features such as Shop, Invoices, Inventory and Activities in My Swisscom Business can be used with both login types. For applications that require a specific login type, users are automatically prompted to log in with the appropriate login.

** User administration is only possible within the same login type (Swisscom Business Account or Swisscom Login).

First Login

The Swisscom Business Account uses Passkey. This is a modern, phishing-resistant sign-in method that uses a cryptographic key pair instead of a password, and lets you confirm sign-in using facial recognition, a fingerprint, or your device PIN. Your private key remains securely stored on your device. Swisscom only stores the public key.

By setting things up on your mobile device first, you always have your private key with you. This means you can then sign in on other devices too — for example, on a computer. Confirmation is handled via your mobile device, even if the computer has no facial recognition or fingerprint sensor.

The first login only works in the mobile view of your browser. If your browser is using the desktop view, a QR code will appear.

Open your browser settings and disable the desktop view. Then reload the page.

  • The password is valid for 5 days.
  • The administrators of your company can send a new password. If you are the only administrator, please contact Swisscom Support.
