Prioritisation of Packages / Included Allowances in the Cockpit

On this page:
Explanation of package and included allowance prioritisation, along with practical guidance for effective prioritisation in Switzerland and abroad for both personal and business needs.

Cost pressures continue to increase due to the economic situation – both for companies and for mobile subscription users.

As a result, companies are enforcing their policies regarding personal use more strictly than ever. At the same time, mobile subscription users do not want to use packages they purchased privately for business purposes.

The solution is a new feature that allows mobile subscription users to prioritise packages and included allowances directly within their user cockpit.

Guide: How to Always Use the Right Data Package

Example Scenario

You have purchased a personal data package while abroad and do not want to use it for business purposes (or vice versa). Until now, the package with the earliest expiry date was always used first.

For example, if you purchased a personal package while abroad during the summer and then a business package in the autumn, the personal data package would always be used first.

Instructions

You can now change this priority order at any time by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Cockpit at cockpit.swisscom.ch and select the relevant country in which you would like to change the priority order of the available packages, included allowances, or company pools.
  2. By clicking “Change”, you can move a package with a lower priority higher up in the priority order.
  3. You can return to the original priority order by clicking “Reset”.
  4. With the package and included allowance prioritisation feature in the Cockpit at cockpit.swisscom.ch, you can now easily adjust the priority order to suit your needs.
