“Hey Swisscom”: voice control for the Swisscom Box

Overview of voice commands

The Voice Assistant enables you to operate the Swisscom Box with your voice. Activate the assistant by saying “Hey Swisscom” and the Box will then follow your commands or answer your questions. Make sure that the HDMI-CEC function has been activated on your TV set to be able to control both your Box and TV.

 

You can use the voice commands to switch on the Swisscom Box, adjust the volume, search for films or perform other actions. New commands are being added all the time.

Switching the Voice Assistant on/off

The first time you start up your Swisscom Box, the microphones in your TV-Box are automatically deactivated. The Swisscom Box will therefore not respond to the “Hey Swisscom” activation phrase.

 

To activate the microphones and Voice Assistant on your Swisscom Box, proceed as follows.

  •   Microphone button on Box

    Press the microphone button on the side of the Swisscom Box.

      Microphone switch on remote control

    Press the microphone switch on your remote control and choose ‘Activated’ on the TV to use the function via the remote control.

  •   Privacy policy

    Privacy policy will be displayed.

      Save

    Choose whether or not to give permission for your voice recordings to be checked. You can change this at any time in Settings. Go to ‘Save’.
