Bluewin E-Mail-Server – IMAP/SMTP, Exchange, POP3 

Server settings

With these details for the inbox and outbox servers, you can set up your e-mail address with @bluewin.ch/@bluemail.ch(opens in new tab) in your e-mail program. To do this, enable SSL in the settings.

IMAP/SMTP

imaps.bluewin.ch (Port 993) 

smtpauths.bluewin.ch (Port 465) 

Exchange

sync.bluewin.ch (port 443 – filled in automatically) 

POP3

pop3s.bluewin.ch (Port 995)

Exchange

With Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), you can access and manage your e-mails, calendar, contacts and tasks on your smartphone.   

  • Synchronisation: e-mails, calendar, contacts and tasks  
  • Compatible with the Mail app (iOS) and Gmail app (Android)  
  • Available with Bluewin E-Mail basic and Bluewin E-Mail advanced

IMAP

With IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), you can access and manage your e-mails on any device.   

  • Synchronisation: e-mails only 
  • Compatible with almost all e-mail apps and programs (Android, iOS, Windows, Mac) 
  • Available with Bluewin E-Mail light, Bluewin E-Mail basic, Bluewin E-Mail advanced

POP3

With POP3 (Post Office Protocol Version 3), you can download your e-mails from the server to a local device. The e-mails are then deleted from the server.

  • No synchronisation (only download of e-mails) 
  • Limited synchronisation functions between devices 
  • Available with Bluewin E-Mail light, Bluewin E-Mail basic, Bluewin E-Mail advanced
