What is Swisscom Buyback?
The Swisscom Buyback programme lets you sell your old smartphone. The buyback value you receive depends on the condition, brand and model of your device. You may choose to have the amount paid out conveniently by bank transfer or have it credited towards your next Swisscom invoice. The buyback value or a portion of it can also be donated to the SOS Children’s Villages foundation. It’s also possible to have the buyback value of the used device credited directly towards your new smartphone. Simply select your device of choice online, at a Swisscom shop or via our hotline. You may conveniently send the used device to Swisscom at a later date.
Who can take advantage of Swisscom Buyback?
The Swisscom Buyback programme is available to all smartphone owners in Switzerland – you do not need to be a Swisscom customer.
How can I sell my second-hand smartphone to Swisscom?
You have the following options:
- Put the buyback value of your old mobile phone directly towards the purchase of a new smartphone
- Have the buyback amount for your old mobile paid out via bank transfer or credited to your next Swisscom bill
- Donate the buyback value or part of it to the SOS Children's Villages foundation
Swisscom's buyback offer for second-hand smartphones is provided in cooperation with partner company Recommerce Solutions (RS) Switzerland.
What options do I have for selling my used smartphone to Swisscom?
You can have the buyback credit from the used phone credited directly towards your new smartphone in the following ways:
- At a Swisscom shop, where you can hand in your old device on the spot or send it by post at a later date
- Via our hotline or the Swisscom online shop, after which you must send in your device by post
- You can also sell your old device to us without having to purchase a new one. This can easily be done online or at a Swisscom shop and you may choose to have the amount paid out conveniently by bank transfer or have it credited towards your next Swisscom invoice.
- The buyback value or a portion of it can also be donated to the SOS Children's Villages foundation.
