Here’s how IP telephony works

Make calls with IP telephony using the Internet instead of the telephone line. VoIP and SIP-enabled devices, and software clients, allow you to make both voice calls and video calls.

Do you want to use IP telephony locally?

  1. Set up your router.
  2. Set up your IP-enabled telephone or your VoIP client.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each new device.
