How can I compare and switch my mobile plan?

You can compare and adjust your Swisscom mobile subscription at any time directly in My Swisscom(opens in new tab). Upgrading to a higher subscription is usually possible immediately, while downgrading takes effect after the minimum contract term has expired.

Is number portability available?

Yes, you can transfer your existing cell phone number to Swisscom at no cost. When signing up for the blue Mobile XL subscription online, simply select the option “Keep my current phone number.” We’ll handle the cancellation with your current provider(opens in new tab) and ensure a seamless transition.

Is 5G automatically included in the blue Mobile XL subscription?

Yes, with the blue Mobile XL plan, you automatically benefit from Premium Speed of up to 2.3 Gbit/s on Switzerland’s best 5G network, provided your smartphone is 5G-compatible.

How does the Combi Discount work with my Internet subscription?

If you already have a blue Internet subscription, you’ll receive a 20.– Combi Discount on your blue Mobile XL subscription every month. The discount is automatically deducted from your bill.

What is the notice period for the blue Mobile XL subscription?

The notice period for the blue Mobile XL subscription is 2 months. Please note any minimum contract term (usually 12 or 24 months) when signing a new contract or renewing your subscription. You can easily manage your contract at any time in My Swisscom(opens in new tab).

The following terms and conditions apply to new blue Mobile subscriptions with a term of 24 or 36 months, depending on the device payment plan selected.

Terms and conditions for the «We are Family!» discount

If there are multiple blue Mobile subscriptions in the same household, you receive a 50% discount on the 2nd through 5th blue Mobile subscriptions every month.
At least two eligible blue Mobile subscriptions with the same residential address.
The Swisscom subscriptions must be in the same person’s name or registered in My Swisscom under “My Household.”
You agree to the applicable terms and conditions, such as extending the minimum contract term by 24 months, and that you will resolve any issues 24/7 via the app and website instead of using the hotline or visiting a store. This applies to the 2nd through 5th blue Mobile subscriptions. The 1st blue Mobile subscription is not subject to these terms and conditions.
Existing promotions and price benefits may no longer apply.
Customers with subscriptions that are currently within an active minimum contract term cannot switch to «We are Family!». You must wait until the end of the minimum contract term.

Fair Use Policy

The mobile subscriptions are intended for normal personal use and primarily for use in Switzerland. When abroad, the subscriptions are intended for normal personal use while traveling and during temporary stays. If Swisscom demonstrates that usage deviates significantly from normal use (e.g., predominantly used abroad) or if there are indications that the SIM is being used for special applications (e.g., surveillance applications, machine-to-machine, direct dial, or continuous connections), Swisscom reserves the right at any time to suspend or restrict service provision or to take any other appropriate measures.
