Digital inclusion

We want everyone in Switzerland and Italy to have the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of digitalisation. We make the digital world accessible to everyone and promote media literacy.

Supporting 2 million people per year

Every year, through targeted training, information and technical measures, we help around 2 million people in Switzerland use digital media safely and securely. We have offerings for young people, parents and teachers.

Status 2025. See our Sustainability Statements 2025(opens in new tab) for more details.

Swisscom Campus offers a wide selection of information, tips, guides and resources to promote the safe and responsible use of digital media by children, young people and adults of any age.

At our Online Parents’ Evenings on YouTube, blue Zoom and blue News, we discuss current topics such as ‘sharenting’, the sharing of photos and videos of children on social media. Our team of experts gives live answers to questions sent in the chat.

With our "Schools on the Internet" initiative, we offer private and public schools a free Internet connection and a professional security solution.

From kindergarten to secondary school, our media educators visit almost 1,000 school classes every year to talk about addiction, bullying and fake news.

Since 2010, Swisscom and Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) have collaborated on what has become an indispensable public research database on the leisure and media behaviour of young people between the ages of 12 and 19 in Switzerland. The JAMES study supports informed debate about media usage behaviour.

We ensure that our most important products and services are accessible to people with visual or hearing impairments. We also offer a range of special services and products as part of our commitment to accessibility.
