What loyalty offer do I receive if I buy a new smartphone with my existing subscription or renew my Mobile subscription?
Swisscom offers various discounts and loyalty benefits when renewing your Mobile subscription. If you would like to buy a mobile phone from Swisscom with your existing subscription, you can benefit from attractive loyalty offers such as discounted smartphones or additional data volume. The offers vary depending on your subscription and availability. You can view your current loyalty offers in My Swisscom.
When can I renew my Mobile subscription and benefit from a discounted mobile phone?
You can renew your mobile subscription at any time and benefit from a discounted smartphone, provided certain conditions are met. We will inform you in My Swisscom if you are eligible to renew your mobile subscription.
Will I also receive a loyalty offer for a new cell phone when I change my subscription?
When changing your subscription, you can benefit from a loyalty offer for your new cell phone if you have had a Swisscom mobile or Internet subscription for at least 12 months. To do this, select “Renew or change existing subscription” during the ordering process. After the change, your loyalty benefits will remain unchanged, provided that the conditions are met. With the buyback option, you can also sell us your old cell phone and receive a credit note.
How long is the new contract valid if I extend my mobile subscription?
Depending on the device and subscription you choose, the minimum contract term is 12 or 24 months. Six months after purchasing a discounted mobile phone, you can benefit from another promotion.
Will my subscription be automatically renewed? And will I still receive my loyalty offer after that?
Your contract will continue until you cancel it. It doesn’t matter whether you renew your subscription early or only after the minimum contract term has expired when it comes to receiving a loyalty offer.
How do I adjust my existing mobile subscription?
In My Swisscom, you can switch to a more expensive or, now, a cheaper mobile subscription at any time.
Can I renew my subscription early despite an ongoing minimum contract term?
Yes, in many cases you can renew your Mobile subscription during the minimum contract term in order to get a new mobile phone. Simply log in to My Swisscom to check whether you are eligible for an Early Upgrade. Please note that fees may apply for early contract renewal.
What happens to my discounts if I switch to a cheaper subscription?
If you switch to a cheaper subscription (downgrade), loyalty discounts and promotions linked to your current subscription may partially or completely expire. During the ordering process, we transparently show you how the subscription change affects your current and future discounts.
Are activation fees charged when renewing a contract?
No, if you renew your existing Mobile subscription, the usual activation fees do not apply. You only pay the price of your new smartphone.
