beemNet lays the foundations for simple protection for all users, company sites and devices as well as simple administration with extensive security options. Running on Swisscom data centres in Switzerland, the secure corporate network is updated daily and developed continuously by Swisscom security professionals.

Company sites, users and even IoT devices can be integrated easily into beemNet, with automatic protection within the Swisscom network, thanks to our company site offers, user licences and Security Editions. This enables you to benefit from comprehensive and simple cybersecurity throughout your company.

Users can connect to beemNet easily from anywhere, protecting both themselves and their devices against cyberthreats on a daily basis and increasing their online privacy. 

Automatic protection in the Swisscom network

Users in the Swisscom mobile network or at connected company sites are automatically connected to beemNet and therefore protected against cyberthreats. Administrators can easily activate the protection for company sites or users – without any need for an app or additional hardware or software. 

Advanced protection for all with the beem app

The beem app enables employees and business partners to connect their computers, tablets and smartphones to beemNet from anywhere – when connected to third-party networks, working from home or using a public WLAN. The beem app also enables the end-to-end encryption of your data connection when using unsecured networks and makes it possible to analyse encrypted data streams, thereby providing advanced protection against malware.

Push notifications and Security Dashboard

With the beem App, users receive device-specific push notifications and a personal Security Dashboard that works across all devices, showing information about previously blocked content and averted cyber incidents. This creates transparency and increases employee awareness of cyberthreats. The individual evaluations are only accessible to the user at hand – administrators have access to a company-wide Security Dashboard with anonymised, aggregated statistics. The Security Dashboard can be accessed via the beem App, My Swisscom Business and the Swisscom Cockpit.

beemNet is a private, secure corporate network running on four geo-redundant Swisscom data centres in Switzerland. All data streams are analysed and undergo numerous security checks. Targeted anonymisation and encryption further increase privacy protection. This means that all connected devices and networks are automatically protected against cyberthreats, regardless of location. Protect Internet of Things devices

It is finally easy to comprehensively protect IoT devices: beem gives you the full range of Security Service Edge (SSE) functions for IoT devices with cellular connectivity. Connect IoT devices to beemNet and benefit from effective IoT data traffic protection.

How it works:

Swisscom IoT contracts with cellular connectivity can be supplemented with a beemNet option. This connects all included IoT devices to beemNet via the Swisscom mobile network (national and roaming) and automatically displays them in the beem inventory. This functionality requires a beem Plus or Premium Security Edition. It enables you to use IMSI to identify and group your IoT devices as well as to assign individual security guidelines from the full range of SSE functions.
