Which cloud platform is used to host SME IT Solution?

SME IT Solution is based on a hybrid cloud infrastructure. The solution combines services from Microsoft Azure (Switzerland) and the Swiss data centres operated by Swisscom. A company’s own resources can also be connected to the platform. The architecture enables companies to scale their infrastructure more flexibly and provides access to a wide range of tools and services, which help companies realise their own visions.

We already use Microsoft 365 and would like to purchase SME IT Solution as an all-in-one package. Can existing licences and data be transferred?

The Microsoft 365 tenant can be migrated, provided that it is in Europe. As Swisscom will be taking over licence management, existing licences cannot be transferred. The data, on the other hand, can be migrated provided that existing settings do not conflict with the BWS configuration. Azure tenants are always created from scratch.

We already have a Swisscom partner. Can we also purchase SME IT Solution through our partner?

Some partners do offer a fully integrated SME IT Solution. However, there are also partners who only offer network, Internet and telephony, but no integrated IT solutions. Your Swisscom sales contact will be happy to provide information about the products and services available from Swisscom and its partner network.

We already use Smart ICT from Swisscom. Can we migrate Smart ICT to SME IT Solution?

Yes, it is possible to switch from Smart ICT to SME IT Solution. We will be happy to advise you on the new product.
