To the end of the 3rd Quarter of 2022, revenue decreased by CHF 118 million or 1.4% year-on-year to CHF 8,225 million. Operating income before depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined by 3.6% or CHF 124 million to CHF 3,341 million. The Swisscom Group’s investments decreased year-on-year by CHF 4 million or 0.2% to CHF 1,601 million.

Swisscom generates around 80% of its net revenue and operating income before depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) from business operations in Switzerland. The Swiss telecommunications market has an estimated total revenue volume of CHF 11 billion, the market for IT services has total revenue of about CHF 19 billion. Outside Switzerland we are primarily active in Italy, where, with Fastweb’s market share of 16% in the residential customer segment, we are number two in the broadband market.
